Like the blazing symbols of decay and renewal in Storrier's artwork, the refurbishment of this once derelict Deco building forms a fitting backdrop to the first in a series of boutique hotels, inspired by Australian artists. Dreamed up by A Hotels, and fitted-out by interiors grandmaster David Hicks, The Storrier achieves the vision of its creators - to welcome guests somewhere expressive, contemporary and personal.
